While the majority of automotive companies are on a steady sales decline, Subaru has reported that they’ve kicked off 2009 with a 8% increase in sales numbers. The Subaru Forester has been holding up the fort with a 115% sales increase - up 5162 units from January 2008’s 2,402 units. We reported late last year that Subaru executive VP Tom Doll had nothing but gushing confidence for the Subaru brand name, and so far he seems to be on point.
