Mitsubishi has confirmed that the hatchback rendition of their popular Lancer sports sedan will go on sale in the U.S. this summer as a 2010 model. The base model Lancer Sportback will go on sale as the GTS model, which will come with a 2.4L naturally aspirated motor capable of 168hp and 167 lb-ft of torque. The performance based Sportback will be sold as a Ralliart model, and will be getting a turbocharged 2.0L engine capable of a much more impressive 237hp and 253 lb-ft of torque.
